A couple days ago I witnessed the following when dining at a café: a young man started yelling at his girlfriend, then got up and left. The girl, scared and disappointed, sat at her table for maybe twenty more minutes crying. A spiritual organization called Setu Asia is studying this tribe and has come up with some startling revelations. People of this tribe are highly spiritual and completely disconnected from the modern world. They live in their own world of jungle with monkeys and birds. Their history goes back to the Ramayana period. According to Setu Asia, after Lord Rama's death Lord Hanuman roamed in various places of the planet. At that time He visited the kingdom of Vibhishana in Lanka too. He lived with ancestors of this tribe and gave them the knowledge of supreme. Study reveals that Lord Hanuman comes to meet these people every 41 years and He came to meet them recently this year. Next arrival may happen around year 2055.

Interestingly the people of this tribe celebrate the arrival of Lord Hanuman every 41 years and the head of the tribe notes down every minute of Lord Hanuman’s visit in a kind of “Log Book”. Lord Hanuman’s recent visit to this tribe which concluded on 27th May 2014 according to western calendar is also documented by the tribe in their Log Book. Setu Asia is now trying to understand it to know more about the conversations which took place between Lord Hanuman and the tribal people. Only one chapter of this log book has been decoded so far. The first chapter reveals how Lord Hanuman was seen on a mountain in Nuwera Eliya by the tribesmen.

For convenience of devotees across the world, Setu Asia is posting English translations of this Log Book on their website www.setu.asia . First chapter has already been posted and more will follow.

Hindu scholars from India are interpreting it in various ways. Swami Rajmohan, a scholar from Varanasi says, “Lord Hanuman is immortal. Hence it is not a miracle that He was seen in the jungle. He is always there but we mortals of Kaliyuga are not pure enough to see Him from our physical eyes.”

Bodisathya Chakraborthy, a blogger who blogs on Hinduism writes, “This could be beginning of end of Kaliyuga. Nothing can be revealed to us unless Lord Hanuman Himself wants it to be revealed. If He has revealed about His presence to the mortals of digital world, this must be the right time of end of Kaliyuga.”

We human beings of digital age may be very advanced in many things but when it comes to the spiritual advancement, these forest dwellers are way ahead of us.
